"Yongcheng's painting is like a caress. Each of his works tells us a story of loneliness, expectation and isolation in a world that is welcoming and soothing. These are works that, from small to large, are doors in which our eyes, our thoughts, can swallow peacefully. This melancholy of situations, colors and atmospheres is always watered by a masterwork of framing and light. The artist then becomes a poet or filmmaker and tells us the story of a world that is losing some of its landmarks, including those of the family and the importance of real human contact. Yongcheng is a romantic and his painting is eternal without triggering our sobs."
