"Contemporary Chinese art is totally multifaceted, and anyone interested in it realizes the diversity and historical and current importance of the chinese art. Indeed, the academy's teaching produces millions of painters, draughtsmen and sculptors, who demonstrate a technical mastery, a culture and a courage to work scarce in such proportions. Among them, most will not emerge, they are too numerous. So, for many, the idea is to break with their traditions to embark on a subversive or commercial approach, thinking that success is there...? Zuojun deliberately chose to build his art based on his roots, his history and the most viewed subjects of Chinese art, a rare path if ever there was one. The result is unexpected, the result of a marriage between figuration and abstraction. The round format of many of his chassis makes me think of the kaleidoscope. The atmosphere of his most realistic artworks evokes the Flemish masters of the Renaissance. Finally, with Zuojun, everything is contemporary, and for a long time. "
