Rose Lucchesi began painting over forty-five years ago before her impressive acceptance to the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris at the age of 16. From an early age, the Parisian-born artist has honed her evocative style and perceptions expressed with simplicity, honesty and strength.
Lucchesi's work stands out for its freshness, confident brushwork, well-balanced color schemes and varied compositions. The freedom in Lucchesi's expressive style, characterized by a synthesis of objects and emotions, translates naturally from her imagination to the canvas. Since 2006 she has collaborated and exhibited several times in the Washington DC area and more recently on the west coast in Seattle.
