“I’m a certain ethno transformer. I’m inspired by my yakut origins but my artworks are not traditional. It’s a result of transformation of born in Yakutia person and living in a global world. I know and remember the culture of my ancestors but I don’t use it’s frozen cast. This culture lives and changes so do I. All things that lose its relevance is dyeing. You can save a memory about your origins just rethinking traditional images through the contemporary prism.”
