Moscow artist Andrei Shatilov was born on February 16, 1987. From an early age he was attracted to drawing and music. Andrey tried to copy graphic works of the masters of the portrait already then. In 1998, he was accepted to an art school. In 2002, after graduating from art school, Andrei decided to continue his education in the art craft and entered the Astrakhan Art College named after. P. A. Vlasov at the design department. It was within the walls of this educational institution that he received the basic artistic basis. In 2009, the first plot work "Pianist" was written. After the creation of this work, the idea was born to write a few more pictures on a musical theme. Following the "pianist" such paintings as "Heavenly Drummer", "Cast Iron March", "Trumpeter", "Muse" (all 2009-2010 release) were born. These paintings later formed the main part of the first personal exhibition within the walls of the VGSPU. At the same time, paintings "Isolation" (self-portrait), "Christmas gifts" were created. In the autumn of 2010, he took part in the International Painting Competition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Bunin. Specially for this the two canvases were written: "Portrait of I.A. Bunin (Autumn in Paris)" and "The last days of the forester Mitrofan (based on the story" Pine "). It was for the first work that the second place in the nomination "portrait" was awarded and the prize was a trip to Stockholm. This first success inspired the creation of new paintings, and in 2011 the first big personal exhibition took place. Around 30 large paintings created in 2 years of creative activity were represented here. Since then and to this day Andrey is a regular participant of all-Russian and international exhibitions and competitions. In 2016 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of Russia for the painting department. He does not stop there and is looking for the new forms for himself. In 2015, Andrew developed his own style APP.ART. The priority task for the artist now is the organization of some personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad
